Alpha Gamma Delta

Alpha Gamma Delta was founded on May 30, 1904  at Syracuse University, by eleven women. The founders sought to create a support community while at Syracuse and actually worked to spread their sorority to other campuses all while maintaining their college course work.  Since then AGD has expanded to over 180 chapters with a total membership exceeding 183,000.
