Delta Phi Epsilon
Delta Phi Epsilon (ΔΦΕ or DPhiE) is an international sorority founded on March 17, 1917 at New York University Law School in Manhattan. DPhiE was founded in order to create an organization that was accepting of all races and religions, something unheard of at the time. Today it has grown to over 65,000 members from its 105 chapters spanning the United States and Canada. Delta Phi Epsilon's flower is the purple iris and their mascot is the unicorn, they are also represented by the colors Royal Purple and Pure Gold.
Delta Phi Epsilon has three main philanthropies, the Delta Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and the National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders. Each year the sisters on campus host ANAD week to raise awareness for Anorexia Nervosa and promote the importance of positive body image. During this week they hold multiple events including Trash Your Insecurities and a candle light vigil.
