Signature Events

The Sapphire Ball

  • It’s an annual fundraiser for the Jed Foundation which raises awareness for teen suicide prevention, and helps break the stigma surrounding mental health. Our sisters have the opportunity to connect with our philanthropy and speak on their own connection to mental health. The event is open to the public, and this coming September will be our third annual one.

Inspiration Week

  • This is a week dedicated to increasing our sisterhood, friendship, and communication. During the week, we usually have a movie night, a craft night, a presentation night, and there's usually a ritual review. This is also an opportunity for us to connect to the rituals of Kappa on a national level.

Get Out of Bed for Jed

  • This is a fundraiser for the Jed Foundation where we sell Chic-fil-a sandwiches on the green and raise awareness about mental health.

 Kolor me Kappa

  • This is an event we hold with FIJI in the spring that supports both of our philanthropies. Anyone can come up and spray t-shirt dye on a member of choice.

Family Day

  • This is an event we hold in the spring where sisters can bring their parents to show off what Kappa is all about, and show gratitude to Kappa family members.
